Faculty Excursion to Mempawah

A trip to the beach doesn't usually mean swimming for adults (there's a pool for the kids) but a family-style gathering under picnic shelters. We stayed all day, took a boat trip around the island, and I learned how beautiful the countryside outside Pontianak can be.
